Privacy Policy

Tuesday (“Tuesday,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a private-chef concierge service preparing to open in New York City. This policy explains what we collect when you visit tuesdays.nyc and join our waitlist, how we use it, and the choices you have. Right now we operate a single-page waitlist — we are not yet taking bookings or payments.

Information we collect

When you join the waitlist, you choose to give us:

• Your name and email address — so we can identify you and reach out.
• Your neighborhood or ZIP code — so we know where to open next.
• Household size, session interest, and grocery preference — so we can understand demand and match you well.
• Optional dietary needs or restrictions — for example allergies, intolerances, or how you eat. You only share this if you choose to; please don’t include information you’d prefer to keep private.

We also automatically collect a small amount of technical information when you submit the form or browse the site, including the page that referred you and your browser’s user-agent string, along with privacy-friendly, aggregated visit analytics. We use this only to understand traffic and improve the site.

How we use your information

• To add you to the waitlist and let you know when Tuesday opens near you.
• To plan which neighborhoods to open, and to understand demand and preferences.
• To respond to you if you contact us.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

How we share information

We keep your information private and share it only with the service providers that help us run the waitlist, and only so they can perform their work for us:

• Supabase — hosts the secure database that stores your waitlist entry.
• Resend — delivers your confirmation email and our notifications.
• Vercel — hosts the website and provides aggregated, cookieless analytics.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Tuesday and others. If Tuesday is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, waitlist information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Cookies and tracking

The site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our analytics are aggregated and do not build a profile of you across other websites.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist information for as long as we’re operating the waitlist and preparing to serve your area, or until you ask us to remove it. If you request deletion, we’ll remove your entry within a reasonable time, except where we need to keep limited records to comply with legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe or opt out — our marketing emails include a way to opt out, and you can email us any time to stop hearing from us.
• Access, correct, or delete — email us and we’ll help you view, update, or delete the information you gave us.

Depending on where you live (for example, California or other U.S. states with privacy laws), you may have additional rights to access, delete, or opt out of certain uses of your information. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. The waitlist database is locked down and all writes go through a secured server; sensitive keys are never exposed to your browser. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Children

The site is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Tuesday grows. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
